Ingredients
200g Buona shell pasta, 1 tablespoon olive oil, 2 cloves garlic (minced), 1 cup chopped tomatoes, 1/4 cup thick cream, 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese, 1/4 cup chopped fresh basil leaves, salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions
Cook Buona shell pasta in a pot of boiling salted water for about 8-10 minutes until al dente. In a separate saucepan, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes.
Stir in diced tomatoes and simmer for 5-7 minutes.
Reduce heat to low and stir in thick cream and grated Parmesan cheese. Simmer until the sauce thickens slightly, about 2-3 minutes.
Season the sauce with salt and black pepper to taste.
Once pasta is cooked, drain it and add it to the saucepan with the creamy tomato sauce. Toss well to coat the pasta evenly.
Garnish with chopped fresh basil leaves and serve hot.
